Entrepreneur Commons - Recap
Entrepreneur Commons held its year-end meeting on Wednesday, December 7th in the offices of Incubate Miami. Wine, cheese and crackers were available for the participants. Fifteen entrepreneurs were present and after introductions there were lively discussions and conversations.
Patrick Kedziora sent his regards from Chile where he is working on his eLearning project. He wanted the group to know the he will be in Chile for about six months as he continues to develop his project. Chile is offering considerable assistance to entrepreneurs; he suggested that we visit http://www.startupchile.org to investigate the opportunities that are available there.
Additionally the Trade Representative of the Government of Guatemala, Dunia Miranda, visited our meeting and informed us that a considerable amount of programming is developed in that Central American country and she will assist those that may be interested in finding out more.
Many other topics were discussed but one that created a lot of discussion was the interest/need for trademark, patent, copyright protection. We plan to have a trademark/patent lawyer present at our next meeting, which is scheduled for January 26th. Interested parties may contact Robert Bull at fespa@hotmail.com.

Trademark, patent and copyright protection are the main things needed for the business growth. Preserving our inventions is the thing that make the business unique. It helps to avoid competition from market.
